Q: How much do your private lessons cost?
A: The first 3 hour lesson is $139. This includes hands-on cooking instruction for 1 student. If you wish to have additional friends or family join the class, then a second student is $69 and a third student is $49. Pay for a three-student session and any student beyond 3 can attend for FREE. With every three cooking sessions purchased you will receive your fourth one FREE.

Q: How far will your service travel?
A: I will travel free of charge for destinations up to 30 miles from my home base here in West Sacramento. A traveling fee will be added for distances beyond 30 miles @ $1.00 per mile (charged one way only.)

Q: Who shops and pays for all the ingredients needed for the lessons?
A: A list of ingredients to buy will be submitted two weeks in advance to the host (for an additional fee I can purchase the ingredients for the class and bring them to your home on the day of class). The host will then shop for the items needed. If he/she already has some or all of the items needed then we can use those for class.

Q: What equipment do I have to have?
A: A list of equipment will be submitted two weeks in advance to the host. If you don’t have a particular piece of equipment needed I will be happy to bring it!

Q: What other things besides cooking can you teach me?
A: In addition to a variety of cooking classes I also offer classes on kitchen and pantry stocking and organization. If that’s something you’d rather not do I can set-up (or clean up) and stock your kitchen/pantry for you at an hourly rate. I can also assist you as a personal shopper by accompanying you on shopping trips to select kitchen products and to offer advice on what to purchase-remember sales people want to sell you as much as they can regardless as to whether you need it or not! I work for myself and am not paid by other companies to promote products.
