Chef Tariqa

I’ve been a chef and culinary consultant with over 14 years of experience in New York City and the Bay Area. Through my concept Seoul Food and Afro-Asian Diaspora Dining Experience, I blend heritage, storytelling, and bold Afro-Asian flavors inspired by my late grandmother. My Present go focus has been working as a Bay Area–based private chef and caterer, specializing in family-focused meal planning and prep, and teach cooking classes to autistic and neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults in an SDP program—using food as a tool for connection, confidence, and care.

I have a passion for the art and creativity of making beautiful, delicious food that brings people joy. My culinary career began in 2018, when I managed a family-owned restaurant for several years. From there, I launched my own pop-up restaurant and private chef business.

In addition to cooking, I love teaching both kids and adults the joys of preparing food. I have extensive experience running after-school cooking programs for children and teens, including those with neurodiversity and ASD. Whether I’m cooking or teaching, I’m dedicated to helping others create healthy meals that make them feel good from the inside out.

Chef CAllista

Callista Mei-Miller’s food experience has always been unique, inspired by the plethora of incredible cultures in her hometown of Los Angeles and biracial upbringing. She quickly understood that food is an unspoken universal language, a genuine way to immerse oneself and connect with others.

Initially self taught, Callista’s natural passion broke her into the industry and she now has over 10 years of professional experience. Callista found her niche as a private chef and through culinary instruction; the creative freedom, client relationships and community engagement adds another level of fulfillment. Callista loves to inspire others to find their joy and confidence in the kitchen, one dish at a time.
